Despoina Maouni

Despoina Maouni is a licensed physiotherapist with a strong background in therapeutic exercise, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal therapy.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Patras, where she conducted research on the postural evaluation of track and field athletes for her thesis.

She has clinical experience across private rehabilitation and outpatient settings, with a particular focus on designing and implementing individualized programs for physical recovery and performance. Over the years, she has worked closely with athletes in track and field, basketball, and handball, supporting their rehabilitation and return to sport.

Despoina is specialized in therapeutic exercise and post-surgical rehabilitation, helping individuals safely rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence following injuries or orthopedic procedures. Her hands-on approach is enhanced by further training in areas such as Dry Needling, Deep Tissue Massage & Myofascial Release, the Ergon IASTM Technique, Beautystim, Leukotaping, and Kinetic Flossing.

Her work is guided by a passion for functional movement and recovery, always aiming to empower patients to return to their daily lives or sports pain-free, stronger, and more resilient than before.
